Zor is an Alpha male who doesn't sweat the small stuff. Although he dines alone, he is otherwise easy-going around his home dogs, but will seek out strange dogs if he does not feel the tug of a human arm. He is gentle, affectionate,and totally relaxed around people and children. Zor has somewhat distinctive legs and hindquarters built for speed and all the necessary duties of protection. Upon being viewed at the Monterey Turkish Festival, a man from Turkey remarked, "Kangal dog!!", refering to the dogs that he has seen detering livestock predators in his homeland. Zor is a guardian who has switch-hit as a winner in the show ring with effortless aplomb.
