Anatolians At Rare Breeds Ranch

We brought home Zor, our first ASD puppy in 2005. He immediately fit into the ranch which included five other dogs, six cats, and eleven horses. In 2006 we bought two more ASD puppies, Anya and Tank. We decided to keep two pups, Kiz and Tipi from Anya's first litter so we now have a total of five Anatolians They all roam the fenced area of our ranch, playing, exploring, greeting and guarding. Over a year ago, in order to help ensure the guardian instincts of the breed, we introduced a goat and built a small flock of five sheep into our ranch. The dogs responded wonderfully, perfectly reflecting the characteristics of their breed.
